In honor of Black Maternal Health Week (April 11 – 17) Ethos Equity Consulting hosted a critical conversation – Healing the Harm: Reclaiming the Black Birthing Experience. The discussion includes perspective related to current inequities in healthcare and the disproportionate impact on Black birthing women. Over the course of the conversation the work of four moms, dedicated to healing the harm through diverse and inclusive services, will be amplified.
Panelists include: Eve Akins (Founder and Birth Educator at EVE Birth Services), Tereé Fruga (Certified Professional Midwife), Cessilye Smith (Founder and CEO of Abide Women’s Health Services), and Dr. Mona Robbins (Board Certified Health Psychologist). This event is moderated by Brittani Hite, Founder and Strategic Director of Ethos Equity Consulting.
